The Fox and Rabbit Inn sits on the edge of the North York Moors, where there is so much to do and see on our doorstep. It is the perfect stop-off place en route to the coast.
Situated on the A169 between Pickering and Whitby, we are 4 miles from Dalby Forest where you will find walking, cycling and horse riding. The moorland village of Goathland is nine miles to the North. It is the main setting for the popular television series "Heartbeat" and the station was used to represent Hogwarts Station in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone". The nearby Hole of Horcum has spectacular views of the North York Moors and is a favourite with walkers of all abilities. The scenic drive across the North York Moors brings you to the historic fishing town of Whitby.
Our country pub provides the ideal place to visit whilst exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire for either a meal or to relax with a drink and reflect on your day. |
